Armenia – proud to be in Eurovision
Making its debut in Athens
20 February 2006
8 July 2005 is an important date in the history of the Public Television Company of Armenia. This was the day that the country's broadcaster was welcomed into the European Broadcasting Union (EBU), after a vote by other member countries at the General Assembly in Dubrovnik, Croatia.
During the 2005 Eurovision Song Contest in Kyiv, the public broadcaster of Armenia received a great many e-mails and telephone calls asking for Armenia to take part in 2006.

But becoming a part of Eurovision was not easy: Armenia was outside the EBU’s territory. Thankfully, the EBU’s statutes were changed and now Armenia (and Georgia) are within its boundaries.

Armenia is proud to be the first country in the Transcaucasian region to take part in the Eurovision Song Contest.

BELGIUM -->
21 February 2006
Kate Ryan pour l'Eurovision (21/02/2006)

Kate Ryan’s Belgian Eurovision entry 'Je t'adore' will be released across Europe before May. But Belgian music stores are already selling the song.

"Releasing the single too early would be a bad idea," said Erwin Goegebeur, a spokesperson for the record company EMI, "because people might not find it fresh by the time the contest comes round. It's difficult to choose the perfect release date."

Nethertheless, the record company is confident that the song will boost sales of Kate's earlier hits, such as 'Désenchantée’, which were big successes in several European countries.

DENMARK

The Danish Eurovision website
Sidsel Ben Semmane
to represent Denmark with "Twist of Love"

Sidsel Ben Semmane has been selected to represent Denmark in Athens with the song "Twist of Love".

The 17 year old singer picked up top marks from all four regional juries for his mix of cowboy and Rock'n'Roll style.

And this is how the preselection worked:
After all ten songs had been presented, telephone lines were opened and Danish viewers voted to give five of the artists a chance to perform again.

The lucky five and their final points are:
1. Sidsel Ben Semmane - "Twist of Love" - 12 + 12 + 12 + 12 = 48 points
2. Danni Elmo - "2 in 1" - 8 + 8 + 10 + 10 = 36 points
3. Søren Poppe & Lene Matthiesen - "En som dig" - 10 + 6 + 8 + 6 = 30 points
4. Kim Schwartz - "Åh Amore" - 6 + 10 + 6 + 4 = 26 points
5. Neighbours - "Je ne regrette rien" - 4 + 4 + 4 + 8 = 20 points

Søren Poppe is best remembered for being one half of the lead vocals of Rollo and King, who sang for Denmark in 2001 and achieved a strong second place on home soil.

Thanks to Jakob Sveistrup's tenth place for Denmark in Kyiv last year, Sidsel is already qualified for the Final in Athens.

France decides
Virginie Pouchain to represent the country

"Il était temps"
the French entry
Virginie Pouchain, a 26-year-old lady from the Ardeche, will represent France at the 2006 Eurovision Song Contest.

Virginie has already won several song contests in her own country. She is part of the Montelochante association which looks for promising young artists and gives them the chance to perform on a regional scale.

Virginie, an amateur singer and hairdresser, was chosen on 14 March by the viewers of France 3 and a special jury presided over by Charles Aznavour, along with Natasha Saint-Pier (Eurovision representative for France in 2001) and Lara Fabian (Eurovision representative for Luxembourg in 1988).

Virginie is also the winner of France 2’s very popular show ‘Entree des Artistes’ which is hosted by Pascal Sevran. This show gained her a place in the French selection for the Eurovision Song Contest.

The viewers, whose vote represented half of the final decision, were invited to vote via email, SMS and telephone.

She was selected when she sang Céline Dion's hit ‘Pour que tu m'aimes encore’.

In Athens, Virginie will perform a song composed by Rwandan-born Corneille. After several hits in France for which he is highly acclaimed, Corneille declared he was "proud" to take part in this exciting new challenge, that "promotes artists who do not have direct access to the media or to radio and TV shows."

When the final result was announced, the new president of France Television, Patrick de Carolis said he was "extremely pleased" with the high standard of both the candidates and the broadcast. It was, he said, "miles ahead of the usual formats in which talented artists are exposed only to France".

In total, 5,000 artists took part in "Et si c'etait Vous?" – the selection process organised by the various channels of France Television which was designed to unearth new talent.

Good luck, Virginie!

----

15 March 2006

Virginie Pouchin will represent France in the Final in Athens with the song "Vous c'est nous".

Virginie's song is written by Corneille (see the corresponding article here on eurovision.tv).

More details about the French winner soon here!

----

2 March 2006

TV station France3 has named Corneille as the writer of the 2006 French Eurovision entry.

To learn more about Corneille, click on his CV here on eurovision.tv or visit his website:

But who will perform the song? That’s a question that will be answered during the national final on 14 March.

The different stages of the selection process will covered by different French TV channels, as follows:

France 2 will select four finalists during the ‘Entrée des Artistes’ musical show hosted by Pascal Sevran.
France 3 will select 13 finalists from 13 French regions in a national talent search. One finalist will be selected from each region.
RFÔ/France Ô will select four finalists to represent the DOM/TOM (French Indies, New Caledonia, la Réunion, etc).
On 4 March, France 3 will launch its Eurovision website. Check it out for news on all of the finalists.

The running order of the performances during the final show will be decided by a public draw held during the MTV show ‚Urban Shick’. The national selection final will be held on 26 February, starting at 20.45 CET, and is a 120-minute TV show. The winner will be decided by televoting.
The national selection is a fair competition that promotes talented and well-known pop musicians, with with the twin aims of suitably representing the FYR Macedonia in Athens and of allowing MRT to present itself as a national broadcaster.

Voting procedure
The winning song will be decided by televoting, a process which will be completely assigned to Macedonian Telecommunications and the two mobile operators (Mobimak and Kosmofon).

Following the example of the EBU, MRT will appoint a stand-by jury, in case the need arises. The members of that jury will follow the show from a special room in MRT and their voting will start immediately after the end of the 20th song (and before the start of the televoting). Their results will be delivered to the chairperson of the national team in charge of the voting.

The stand-by jury will vote in the following way:
- Each member shall vote separately on a special form and award 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 10 or 12 points to ten of the 20 songs. The results of the voting of each member of the jury will be kept in a closed envelope
- The total sum of points entered in the forms by the nine jury members will decide the winner of the national selection

The stand-by jury will be engaged only if some of the results from the televoting are tied. Jury members will choose between the tied songs by a show of hands. Abstentions are not allowed.
In case the stand-by jury is engaged, MRT will announce the names of that jury, but not their votes.

The winner of the national selection will be the song with the highest number of votes acquired from the televoting or, if necessary, the song with the highest number of votes from the stand-by jury.

All parties involved in the organization and the execution of the national selection for the 2006 Eurovision Song Contest (the host broadcaster, the artists, the journalists, etc.) must act correctly and fairly, refraining from offences and scandals in order to create a friendly mood and to help a common goal – to present FYR Macedonia in the best possible way at the 2006 Eurovision Song Contest.

The renewed German national Final

On 9 March three well-known German artists will compete for a ticket to the Eurovision Final in Athens on 20 May in Hamburg (Deutsches Schauspielhaus).

Vicky Leandros ("Don't break my Heart"), Thomas Anders ("Songs that live forever") and Texas Lightning with Olli Dittrich ("No no never") are willing to represent Germany in the Eurovision Song Contest 2006. All three artists were chosen by a jury. Criteria for the selection were: a high musical standard and show acceptance. All three have in common to be extremely popular in Germany and abroad.

The closest connection to Eurovision has Greek born Vicky Leandros, who not only participated twice and won for Luxembourg, but who also performed a Eurovision classic with „Après toi“. Thomas Anders, who started a successful solo career after his times with partner Dieter Bohlen as Modern Talking, thinks that his advantage are his fans in the Eastern German and European countries. “I am very well-known in Eastern European countries, e.g. Russia. They love my music”, explains Thomas Anders to a German newspaper. Texas Lightning with singer and drummer Olli Dittrich is regarded a Eurovision outsider, although the group and lead singer are well-known to a young German audience.

With the renewed national Final, the German broadcaster reacts on the low ratings of last year’s “Germany, 12 points” show. The three artists will perform two songs – one of it will be a Eurovision classic. National and international turnips will take part in the show.

Anna Vissi – performing at Eurovision for the third time

Born in Cyprus, Anna started her musical career at the early age of six, attending the Cyprus Conservatory. At 12, she won the first prize at a local song contest. Her mother was so convinced of her daughter's talent that she moved the entire family to Greece from where, it was hoped, Anna would find it easier to launch a musical career.

She started a collaboration with Mikis Theodorakis (‘18 Lianotragouda Gia Tin Pikri Patrida’, ‘Grammata Apo Tin Germania’) and up until 1976 she worked with Stauros Koujoumtzis (‘Sagapo’, ‘Sta chronia tis ipomonis’ ), Giorgos Hatzinasios (‘To palikari’) and Doros Georgiadis (‘To palio to aeroplano’, ‘As kanoume apopse mian arhi’).

Anna later embarked on a close collaboration with Nicos Karvelas – who was already a well-known songwriter with many number one hits to his name – that is still going strong today. As well as writing most of her songs, Karvelas penned Greece's first ever rock opera ‘Demons’ and the musical ‘Mala’, especially for Anna.

Anna's collaboration with Nicos commenced in the early 1980s. Over the years they have worked on numerous projects together. Their shared passion for music has generated several hits: They have produced more than 20 number one hits such as ‘Kryvame Tin Agapi Mas’, ‘San Ta Pinasmena Peristeria’, ‘Oute Ena Sagapo’, ‘Dodeka’, ‘Eleni’, ‘Trellainomai’, ‘Paralio’, ‘Den Thelo Na Xereis’, ‘Min Psahnis Tin Agapi’.

1996-1997
After releasing her album ‘Klima Tropiko’ (‘Tropical Climate’), Anna dominated the Greek market. The album was an instant best-seller, achieving platinum status within a few months.

Anna toured Greece, performing more than 40 highly successful shows. After this tour, a new club was built especially for her, in which she performed a three-hour show. The club was sold out for several nights, making it the most successful one-woman performance ever held in Greece.

The Mayor of Athens asked Anna to accompany him to the 1996/1997 New Year's Eve celebrations in Parliament Square, at which she performed in front of more than 20,000 Athenians.

In February 1997, Anna won three Greek Music Awards for Best Female Singer, Best Interpretation and Biggest Airplay Song.

In the same year, she became the president of a children's charity on Cyprus. With just one performance, Anna raised more than £150,000.

Her album, ‘Travma’ (‘Wound’), was released in April 1997, reaching gold status in the first 12 days of its release. After that it went on to sell 150,000 units, attaining triple-platinum status in just six months. Anna was also introduced to American audiences with the single, ‘Forgive Me This’, produced by Céline Dion collaborator Ric Wake. The album ‘Travma’ was released in Australia.

1997-1998
Anna presented her new album ‘Antidote’ in the biggest record store in Pireus, where over 5,000 fans turned out to meet her, an event that was repeated in Thessaloniki where Anna did not even manage to reach the store! In just seven days, 'Antitode' sold over 80,000 copies, setting a new Greek sales record. She was also presented with a triple platinum award for ‘Travma’ by Sony Music Europe.

In March 1998, Anna won seven top awards at the Pop Corn Music Award Ceremony: Best Female Singer, Best Interpretation, Best Live Appearance, Best Album, Best Song, Best Album Cover, and Most Played Song on The Radio (‘Travma’), while her longstanding songwriter Nicos Karvelas won the Best Composition award for the song ‘Mavra Yalia’.

1998-1999
In February 1999, Anna Vissi performed two sold-out shows in London at the Forum Music Theatre and The Palladium Theatre. Anna also sold out shows on her first-ever mini tour of the USA, which took her to Los Angeles, Atlantic City, Chicago, Boston and New York City, where she performed at The Theatre at Madison Square Garden.

The Los Angeles Times raved, “...a performance so charismatic, so filled with sheer magnetic talent... expect big things from this potential new international star.” The New York Times said, “With raised arms and delicately stepping feet, she was no unapproachable, packaged pop diva, but an irrepressible entertainer.”

1999-2000
Anna performed at the Royal Albert Hall on Sunday, 5 March, in front of members of the local Greek community, many Greek celebrities and a significant number of British fans who went to meet the extraordinary singer up close.

Anna’s entrance on stage was sensational. She performed an awesome two-and-a-half-hour show, in which she sung and danced continuously! The theatre's boxes and main floor were packed with an audience that sung with her on every song. On Sunday night the prestigious theatre witnessed some unforgettable moments, and was flooded with Greek music and much more...

Anna rewarded everyone who had come to see her perform. On the cry of “Rock and roll the whole Royal Albert Hall,” she performed four songs from her upcoming international English album live for the first time.
Everyone responsible for Anna's new album came to her millennium show: Paul Russel (Chairman of Sony Music Europe), Peter Asher (the internationally known producer), Brian Rawling (creator of most of the tracks on Anna's album) and Sony Music Europe's artist and strategic marketing managers.

Anna was preparing her first international project for over a year. She recorded her first full-length English-language debut album, which was eventually released throughout Europe during the summer. The first single from the album ‘Everything I am’ was composed by Nicos Karvelas, with lyrics by Paul Barry. The rest of the tracklisting includes songs by some of the top international songwriters such as Russ Ballard, Mark Taylor, Graham Stack, Steve Torch, Paul Stanley, Tina Shafer, Julian Harris, Danielle Gerber and, of course, Nicos Karvelas. The album was produced by Brian Rawling (Cher's ‘Believe’ and Enrique Iglesias); Ric Wake (Céline Dion) and Peter Asher (Linda Ronstadt, Diana Ross and Cher).

Millions of TV viewers all over the world watched Anna make her international debut when she performed at the Miss Universe Pageant in her native Cyprus. Accompanied by her troupe of eight dancers, she sang ‘On A Night Like This’ from the new album. The stunning recipe for the Anna's first international single ‘Everything I Am’, was shot in Finland, directed by Antti Jokinen at Solar Films.

Not wanting to keep her fans waiting any longer, Anna released a Greek CD single titled ‘Agapi Ipervoliki’ (‘Love Excessive’) for the summer. The title track, which is a high-energy trance track, became the number one hit of the summer, earning the CD quadruple platinum status. She performed these six new smash hits during her 60 sold-out live appearances at a Greek summer music hall. Her performances included tracks from her international release which were choreographed by Shaun Fernandes (Boyzone).
In winter 2000, Anna was keen to make sure that everyone was aware of her explosive return! She released a Greek double album entitled ‘Kravgi’ (‘Scream’), showing her fans just what they had been missing during her two-year absence. Major hits emerged from ‘Kravgi’, such as the self-titled track, ‘Horis To Moro Mou’ (‘Without My Baby’), ‘Moni Mou’ (‘By Myself’), ‘Agapoula Mou’ (‘My Love’). Of course, this six-time platinum album was written by Nicos Karvelas.

2001
Athens saw in the new year with Anna, who was invited by the city’s Mayor, Dimitri Avramopoulos, to join him in counting down the start of 2001, and to launch the New Year's party at the Athens Syndagma square.
In April, Anna received five Popcorn Music Awards: Best Female Singer, Best Single for ‘Agapi Ipervoliki’, Best Vocal Performance for ‘Afti Ti Fora’, Best recipe Clip for ‘Agapi Ipervoliki’ and Best Female Stage Performance.

During the month of April, Anna became the ambassador of good will for the Mac Aids Fund in Greece. The cosmetic's company Mac opened its first retail store in Greece, and officially invited Anna to promote the lipstick Mac Viva Clam III. The sales of this product were dedicated to the philanthropic cause of children with Aids.

In March, Anna released ‘Still In Love With You’, the second single from her international album with remixes by Soda Club.

The number one Greek female artist performed her biggest hits at ‘2001- A Peace Odyssey’, a cultural event for the Balkans which took place in Bucharest's central plaza Uniri on Wednesday, 6 June. Romania's telecommunication companies Rometelecom and Cosmorom, supported by the Greek telecom service OTE, organised the event. It was an impressive site that married music with modern art. International artist Emir Kusturica, in collaboration with producer and director Aggelos Hatziandreou, undertook the artistic direction of the event. The programme included a multimedia show, a performance from a local band and a concert by Emir Kusturica's band ‘No Smoking Band’. But the grand finale belonged to Anna. Her performance opened in front of a water screen and she wowed all 150,000 spectators. Emir's band accompanied Anna throughout her appearance, offering the audience a unique musical experience.
On 5 September, Anna gave a concert in Cyprus at the GSP Stadium. Even though she performs for her home country every year, this year's performance out-did all others. It was a radiant night full of emotion. Over 18,000 fans packed the stadium to watch the diva's three-hour performance and to see her presented with a disc to celebrate her album ‘Kravgi’ reaching seven-time platinum status.

‘Mala – I Mousiki Tou Anemou’ (‘Mala – The Music Of The Wind’): A true love story
Anna is an artist who continually strives to enrich herself and her music. She raised the curtain on a very special musical. ‘Mala’, a production that features 23 unique songs, a stellar cast of 60 and a live orchestra with 35 musicians, opened on 15 January 2002 at the Palace Theatre.

Taking chances is what Anna is all about. ‘Mala’ was a challenge that she planned to conquer in order to widen her artistic horizons. Not only did she prove herself as an accomplished actor, but she left audiences awe-struck at her inexhaustible on-stage talent.

The musical is a true love story that takes place during the second world war.

Anna performed the starring role, Leonidas Kakouris played the man who captures her heart.
Credits: Nicos Karvelas (music, script and libretto), Yannis Kakleas (direction), Yiorgos Gavalas (set design), Yannis Metzikof (costume design), Yiorgos Niarhos (musical direction).

The soundtrack to the musical was released containing all 27 symphonic tracks.

2003
Anna released an album featuring composers such as Kostantinos Christoforou, Nikos Karvelas, Sofi Papa, Alex Papakostantinou, Vangelis Vasiliou. ‘Paraksenes Ikones’ went double platinum in just six months! The single ‘Treno’ (‘Train’) was named the most popular song of the year.

2004
Anna was the main attraction at the celebrations for Cyprus' entry into the EU, performing in front of 100,000 people! She then went on a successful tour in England and the USA, which culminated in a huge concert in Cyprus on 3 September. She also performed at the Closing Ceremony of the Athens 2004 Olympic Games, a great honour.

2005
The English version of ‘Ise’ (‘Call Me’) was released and Anna moved to the USA to promote it. The single was a great success, and the song peaked at number one on Billboard's Hot Dance Music Club Play Charts and number two on Billboard's Dance Radio Airplay Charts! It also made significant appearances on other charts around the world, in countries like Turkey, Israel, Bulgaria and many more! During the summer, Anna returned to Greece for the official release of the ‘Call Me’ single, which also included a second English song ‘Lie’, and an impressive appearance in Myconos at the ‘Soundwave’ festival! A month later, she released a new Greek CD ‘Nylon’. This was the first Greek CD to be released in a Dual Disc format, and included unreleased cookbooks of the CD being made. She is now appearing at ‘Votanikos’ live music club.

"Together we are one"
Eddie Butler for Athens

A Hebrew from Dimona and a former member of Eden, Eddie was offered a tempting sum of money to relocate to Russia but he decided to stay in Israel, his true home. Now, he is releasing his first single.

Eddie Butler, 34, was born to American parents who had come to Israel from Chicago before settling in Dimona. Eddie began to sing and perform at the age of eight. He and his older brother, Gabriel, became popular attractions in Dimona, singing at family gatherings and community events. He soon found himself performing all over Israel.

Eddie decided to leave small-town Dimona for the big city of Tel Aviv where he began to sing with wedding bands. His enchantingly soulful voice, showmanship and good looks caught the attention of many top Israeli performers who wanted a cilantro ‘Butler Flavour’ in their songs. In 1995, Eddie worked as backing singer for Zahava Bain's pre-Eurovision song. Soon afterwards, recording studios became interested in Eddie’s undeniable potential. He joined forces with the renowned musical manager and composer, Yacov Lemay, songwriter Jackie Oved, singer Rafiel Daan and brother Gabriel Butler to form the soulful pop group Eden (named after Eddie's daughter).

A unique blend of Hebrew and English, Eden was launched in 1997 and soon found success. Doron Oren replaced Jackie Oved and the finished product was ready to work – and work, they did! Their first hit was 'Happy Birthday', a rhythmic pop song full of joy that can still be heard on radio stations today. In 1999, Eden were chosen to represent Israel in the Eurovision Song Contest. The group finished a respectable fifth, bringing them much credit back home.

2001 saw the dismantling of Eden but Eddie Butler found himself invited to perform throughout Europe, Russia and America. In 2003, he represented Israel in Yurmala, Russia's equivalent to the Eurovision Song Contest which is viewed by over 80 million people. Again, Eddie’s talent, spirit and inspiration won him the award as the audience’s favourite and he was approached by prominent businessmen with offers to stay in Russia and perform. But he decided that Israel was his home given that he lives there with Orly, the love of his life, and his son Aton.

Eddie Butler's single, 'You Are A Dream'

Eddie is releasing his first single 'You Are A Dream', a song inspired by five years of living with his family, Orly and Aton. In early 2006, during his Dudu Topaz show, Eddie publicly proposed to Orly before serenading her with his debut song 'You Are A Dream'. A tearful Orly accepted to huge applause from the audience.

LATVIA
The Latvian Eurovision website
Cosmos will represent Latvia
with 'I hear your heart'

For the first time in the history of Eurovision, the Song Contest will include a Latvian group that does not use any musical instruments at all – and yet their performance is entirely live and delicious of any backing tracks. Moving bass, startling counter-tenor, a trumpet sound and even the beat-box – everything you hear is created only by voices of six singers right in front of your eyes.

Acknowledged as the best young Latvian group in its first year, Cosmos’ first album received an award as the best pop album of 2003 and achieved platinum status. Cosmos have released three new albums since then and they all greatly enjoy the appreciation of audiences in many, many countries. Their distinctive style of a cappella singing and charismatic concert performances, gave these six young musicians the chance to skyrocket to the forefront of popular music. Drawing on a professional musical education and with a very broad range of voices, Cosmos give full expression to their talents across a broad range of musical styles and genres from medieval chant to modern jazz and pop music.

The professionalism of Cosmos has also been recognized beyond the borders of their own country. After seventeen years of denying his greatest hit ‘Don’t Worry, Be Happy’ the legendary Bobby McFerrin agreed to sing it once again together with Cosmos when they shared the stage of the Latvian National Opera in 2005. Proud winner of the international competition for young pop singers ‘New Wave 2004’ – with a television audience of 200 million people – Cosmos also won the second prize at the challenging International Choral Music Competition in Gorizia (Italy) the same year. Every performance by Cosmos attracts a full house not only in Latvia but in other Baltic States, such as Russia and Ukraine. And, as a fresh and vibrant group, Cosmos are regularly invited to represent Latvia and accompany the President of the Republic of Latvia Vaira-Vīķe Freibrega at a range of international events. The Mayor of Washington DC, Anthony A. Williams, admitted that after listening to Cosmos he was amazed by the unlimited possibilities of the human voice – nature’s most incredible musical instrument.

To underpin the continuing development of their musical education, Cosmos devote much time to workshops with world-leading a cappella music professionals such as The Hilliard Ensemble, Take 6, The Real Group, The New York Voices, The Flying Pickets and M-Pact.

LITHUANIA

LT United's dream
"We are the winners" came true

LT UNITED - "We Are The Winners" - Lithuanian Eurovision Entry 2006

Breaking news – the 2006 Eurovision Song Contest already has a winner! Simple as that. Sung in English and French, "We Are the Winners" is this year's Lithuanian entry and has already caused controversy in many European countries. "We are the winners of Eurovision" goes the chorus. Surely, they must be joking?

Well, it seems they are not. Or maybe they are, but they do it with a charm. LT UNITED, the band responsible for this year's entry, is an ‘all star line-up’ of Lithuanian pop performers. Created and masterminded by Andrius Mamontovas, the famous Lithuanian rock singer, they deliver this catchy song with a message that's hard to resist. The Lithuanian President is a fan - he invited LT UNITED to his office to perform on Lithuania's Independence Day. Two weeks later, the nation made the same choice - LT UNITED witnessed unprecedented support during the national selection, gaining almost twice as many votes from the viewers as the closest runners-up. And their popularity keeps growing – in March, LT UNITED became Lithuanian ambassadors of the United Nations Development Programme ‘Time To Help The Others’.

"The idea of this song came to me during a live TV discussion about Eurovision,” sais Andrius. “It just stuck in my head. Is the song ironic? Well, there's certain element of irony involved, of course. But the fact is, this is a song for the winners. A happy, uplifting song."

Viewers of the same broadcast witnessed his promise to write a song for Eurovision 2006. Everybody thought he was joking. But he wasn't. Immediately fascinated by his idea, five Lithuanian pop turnips jumped aboard, forming the most ambitious line-up in Lithuanian pop history.

"This is the musical equivalent of a national basketball team,” he says. “Combined, the members of this line-up have the biggest experience of touring and performing in foreign countries. Our strength is our unity, so I'm 100% sure about this idea.”

After winning the Lithuanian Eurovision selection, LT
